The trip to Barbados was amazing, and I took lots of photos to share the experience of this beautiful island.

The Island of Barbados – a tropical paradise of white sand beaches, crystal blue waters, and friendly locals! If you’re a travel agent looking for an up close and personal experience of the island, then a fam trip is the perfect way to explore. On my excursion, I was able to see the best of Barbados, from the stunning beaches to the attractions. I also got a feel for the culture and hospitality that makes Barbados such an attractive destination for travelers.
The Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. (BTMI) is in charge of promoting and marketing the island as a destination for travelers. They are responsible for creating campaigns that highlight the beauty, culture, and hospitality of Barbados, and they work closely with travel agents to ensure their clients have the best possible experience when visiting the island.
The BTMI also offers educational trips for travel agents, so they can learn more about Barbados and better serve their clients. My fam trip was organized by the BTMI and I’m thankful for the opportunity to explore Barbados as part of this program. The BTMI is a great resource for travel agents looking to book trips to Barbados!
On day two of my fam trip, we had lunch at the Warf Club in Bridgetown. This waterfront restaurant offers stunning views of the harbor and delicious local cuisine. We indulged in freshly caught seafood dishes like mahi-mahi fish cakes and grilled tuna, as well as other Caribbean specialties like jerk pork and rum punch.
The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, with live music playing in the background. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some delicious food! After lunch, we strolled around Bridgetown to explore more of the city and learn about its history.
You will find most of the resorts are located on the west side of the island. Because the Atlantic ocean is a little rough, the beaches are not as nice as on the west side or Caribbean side of Barbados.
We stayed at Tamarind by Elegant Hotels. This luxurious hotel overlooks the beautiful West Coast Beach and provides a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Bridgetown. We enjoyed dinner at their beachfront restaurant, Sandpiper Bar & Grill, which serves up tantalizing Caribbean cuisine. The hotel also has a spa and fitness center, as well as a large outdoor pool with an infinity edge that looks out over the ocean. Our accommodation was comfortable and luxurious – perfect for unwinding after a busy day of sightseeing!
We also had the pleasure of visiting The House by Elegant Hotels. This stunning beachfront property was once an old plantation house and has since been upgraded to a luxurious, modern resort. We were treated to lunch at their restaurant, The Dining Room, which serves up delectable Caribbean cuisine with a twist of international flavors.
The grounds are lush and tranquil, with a pool overlooking the beach. We also enjoyed drinks at the chic bar overlooking the ocean and took part in an afternoon of water sports on the beach. The House by Elegant Hotels is a luxurious retreat perfect for honeymooners, families, or anyone else looking to relax and unwind!
My fam trip to Barbados was an amazing experience and I’m so thankful that I had the opportunity to explore this beautiful island! From the stunning beaches, lush landscapes, vibrant culture, and friendly locals – there is something for everyone in Barbados.
The BTMI has provided travel agents with an up-close look at all that Barbados has to offer and I highly recommend that they take advantage of the fam trip program. Whether you’re selling Barbados as a destination or simply visiting for yourself, you won’t regret it! Thank you again to the BTMI for an unforgettable experience – I can’t wait to go back soon!
