Barbados is a beautiful island country in the eastern Caribbean. About 8 years ago, I had the opportunity to travel there with a group of fellow travel agents on a fam trip.
The trip was amazing, and I took lots of photos to capture the beauty of the island. In this blog post, I’ll share some of my photos and tell you about some of the highlights of our trip.

If you’re a travel agent, it’s important to be able to capture the beauty of the places you visit on fam trips to show your clients and fellow travelers.
Barbados is definitely no exception! The crystal-clear water and soft sand make for perfect beach photos, while the lush greenery and colorful buildings are great for landscape shots. Here are some tips for capturing the best of Barbados on your next trip.
Almost every year, a group of travel agents from all over the country are selected to descend on Barbados for a fam trip hosted by the Barbados Tourism Authority.
The agents are eager to learn more about the island and what it has to offer visitors, and they are not disappointed! Barbados is an amazing destination with something for everyone, from stunning beaches to lush rain forests.
Some of the trip’s agenda include:
- Resorsts including Sandy Lane, The House by Elegant Hotels, and Crystal Cove.
- Tour of the Island including Little Bay in Saint Lucy.
- Meals were mostly at resorts like The Fairmont and Zen Restaurant.
- Sight Seeing including The Rum Factory, The Waterfront in downtown Bridgetown, and the Sugar Windmill.
In this post, I’ll share some of our favorite photos from the trip and give you a sneak peek of what you can expect when you visit Barbados.
